BRAND STRATEGY WORKSHOP / CORECREATIVE
FIND YOUR EDGE.OWN YOURDIRECTION.

Before you invest in a new identity, website or campaign, get clear on why customers should choose you. We help turn competing opinions into a shared brand direction — and a practical next step.
CLARITY FIRST.Audience. Position. Promise.
A direction worth building on.
01 / WHEN THE BRAND NEEDS A CLEARER ANSWER
MORE OPINIONS.
LESS DIRECTION?
If everyone describes your business differently, your customers are left joining the dots.
A workshop gives the right people room to challenge assumptions and make decisions together. We look at your ambition, customers and competitors before deciding what your brand should stand for.
It is a useful starting point when you are launching, repositioning, entering a new market or preparing to invest in your marketing. It also helps when the business has changed but the brand has not caught up.
Starting something new?
Define who you are for and what makes your offer worth choosing before you shape the identity.
Growing in a new direction?
Work out which parts of your positioning still fit — and which need to move with the business.
Struggling to agree?
Put the different perspectives on the table and turn them into priorities your team can act on.
02 / WHAT WE WORK THROUGH
THE QUESTIONS
BEHIND A
STRONGER BRAND.
We shape the agenda around your challenge. These six areas give the conversation structure — with room to dig deeper where it matters.
Ambition & business direction
What do you want to build, change and become known for? We connect the brand discussion to your business priorities, rather than starting with colours and logos.
Customers & buying decisions
Who matters most, what are they trying to achieve and what stops them choosing you? We prioritise needs, motivations and objections, separating what you know from what still needs checking.
Competitors & alternatives
We examine the alternatives your customers can choose, including the option of doing nothing. We look for repeated claims, credible differences and positions worth investigating.
Positioning & customer value
What problem can you solve particularly well, and why should anyone care? We explore a position that is relevant to the customer, distinctive in the market and believable for your business.
Brand promise & personality
What should customers consistently expect from you? We explore the promise, the evidence behind it and the character that should guide how your brand speaks and behaves.
Priorities & next steps
What needs to change in your messaging, identity or customer experience? We turn the discussion into an agreed direction, open questions and a practical order of work.
03 / FROM DISCUSSION TO DIRECTION
A WORKSHOP.
WITH WORK
ON BOTH SIDES.
The conversation is part of the process. Preparation makes it useful; a clear summary makes it usable.
BEFORE / GET THE CONTEXT.
We agree the challenge, scope and participants. You share your current materials, key competitors and what you already know about your customers. We use that input to focus the session.
TOGETHER / MAKE THE CHOICES.
We guide a structured discussion, challenge generic answers and explore the trade-offs. The aim is not to agree with everything. It is to make the important decisions explicit.
AFTER / PUT IT TO WORK.
We pull the agreed direction into a concise strategic summary, including priorities and questions that need further evidence. Any follow-on creative or implementation work is scoped separately.
04 / WHAT YOU TAKE FORWARD
FEWER GUESSING
GAMES.
A SHARED
STARTING POINT.
A practical reference for the decisions that come next.
The agreed deliverable is a concise strategic summary: priority audience and needs, proposed positioning, customer value, brand promise, personality and next steps. We make unresolved questions visible, too.
That direction can inform a creative brief, a new identity, website messaging or your next campaign. It gives everyone a common starting point instead of another round of personal preferences.
A workshop does not replace customer research. Where a conclusion rests on an assumption, we flag it. Interviews, surveys or deeper market research can be scoped when stronger evidence is needed.
05 / BEFORE YOU BOOK
GOOD QUESTIONS.
STRAIGHT ANSWERS.
Who should take part?
Bring the people who can make decisions and those closest to your customers. Depending on the business, that may include founders, leadership, marketing, sales or customer-facing colleagues. We agree a focused participant group before the session.
Do we need an existing brand?
No. We can work with a new business or an established brand. For a new venture, we start with the business idea, offer and audience. For an existing business, we also examine what should be kept, sharpened or changed.
How long does it take, and what does it cost?
We propose the format, preparation, timing and fixed scope after an initial conversation. The depth depends on your challenge, the available information and who needs to be involved. You receive a proposal before committing.
Does this include a logo or brand book?
The workshop focuses on strategic direction. Logo design, a visual identity, a brand book and campaign production are separate deliverables. We can help carry the strategy into those stages under an agreed scope.
Can you help us put the strategy into practice?
Yes. CoreCreative works across branding, marketing and web development. We can connect the workshop outcomes with creative development and delivery, so the strategic decisions do not get lost in a handover.
What happens when we contact you?
We start with a no-obligation conversation about your business and what needs to change. If a workshop is a useful fit, we recommend a scope and next step. You do not need a polished brief to get in touch.
YOUR NEXT STEP / NO-OBLIGATION CONVERSATION
WHAT SHOULD
YOUR BRAND
BE KNOWN FOR?
Let’s work out what is getting in the way — and where a workshop could help.
