Privacy policy & cookies

Your data.
Your rules.
Our homework.

A privacy policy. With a pulse.

Yes, this is the bit most people scroll past. We gave it a haircut, a little colour and a few actual explanations. The facts still do the heavy lifting.

THE SHORT VERSION / SMALL BITES. NO CRUMBS.

You say hello.

We use your details to answer and discuss the work.

You choose.

Optional services wait for your yes. No is a perfectly good answer.

You can ask.

Questions about your information? There is a real person at the other end.

A quick introduction. The details below explain the purposes, legal bases and limits.

01 / WHO IS RESPONSIBLE

The human.
Not a robot.

Someone has to do the homework. That someone is Niklas.

CoreCreative is the trading name Niklas Jeppsson uses for the services offered through corecreative.se. Niklas Jeppsson is the controller responsible for personal information collected through this website.

For privacy questions or to exercise your rights, email hello@corecreative.se.

02 / INFORMATION & PURPOSE

You talk.
We listen.

Your message is a conversation starter. Not a newsletter subscription in a fake moustache.

We use the details you provide through our contact forms, brand brief or email to respond, discuss your needs and prepare or deliver an agreed assignment. This may include your name, business contact details, company, role and the information you choose to share about your business or project. Please do not send passwords or sensitive personal information.

For business enquiries, our legal basis is our legitimate interest in responding and maintaining business relationships. Where you contact us personally to enter into a contract, we process the necessary information to take steps at your request before that contract. Information needed to deliver an agreement is processed for that agreement; legally required records are kept to meet the relevant legal obligation.

Providing information is voluntary. If you do not provide a way to contact you or details needed to assess your request, we may be unable to respond or prepare a proposal. Sending an enquiry does not subscribe you to a newsletter.

03 / WEBSITE OPERATION

A little
digital plumbing.

Websites have pipes too. Less copper. More servers.

When you visit, technical information such as your IP address, browser, requested pages and time of access may be processed by the website and hosting services to deliver pages, diagnose faults and prevent misuse. Our basis is our legitimate interest in operating and protecting the website. Technical records are kept only for as long as needed for these purposes or to investigate a specific incident.

We do not use your enquiry for automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects. Optional analytics or advertising tracking will only be introduced after the relevant tools and information have been configured, and will require your consent.

04 / RETENTION

No forever
drawer.

You know that drawer full of cables “just in case”? Your unanswered enquiry should not live in one.

Enquiries that do not lead to an assignment are deleted no later than 12 months after the last substantive contact. If an enquiry becomes a project, relevant correspondence is retained for the project and for as long as reasonably needed to manage the agreement or establish, exercise or defend legal claims. Accounting records are kept for the period required by applicable law.

The 12-month enquiry rule is our handling routine; cookie settings do not automatically delete emails or project records. You can contact us to request earlier deletion, subject to any valid reason or legal obligation to retain information.

05 / WHO MAY RECEIVE INFORMATION

Who gets
a backstage pass?

Only the people and providers who need one for the job.

Information may be handled by providers supporting website hosting, email, security and backups, and by specialists who need it to carry out an agreed assignment. Access is limited to what is needed. We may also disclose information where required by law or necessary to handle a legal claim.

Optional embedded services are described below. External providers may process information outside the EU/EEA. Before using a provider for personal information, we must establish the relevant safeguards, such as an applicable adequacy decision or standard contractual clauses. Contact us for information about the providers and safeguards relevant to your enquiry or project.

06 / YOUR RIGHTS

You are
not a passenger.

Your information comes with rights. You are allowed to use them.

Depending on the circumstances, you can request access, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and a portable copy of information you have provided. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests and withdraw consent for optional services at any time. Withdrawal does not affect processing that was lawful before it.

Email hello@corecreative.se to make a request. We may need to verify your identity and will normally respond within one month. You can also complain to Sweden’s supervisory authority, Integritetsskyddsmyndigheten (IMY).

07 / COOKIES & SIMILAR TECHNOLOGY

Cookies.
Hold the crumbs.

Sadly, none of these go with coffee. These ones remember settings.

Cookies are small files stored in your browser. Similar browser storage can also remember choices. Necessary storage supports functions you request, including remembering your privacy settings. Optional services remain subject to your consent and you can continue using the site if you decline them.

Necessary: consent preferences

Complianz stores your consent choices on this website using cookies such as cmplz_banner-status, cmplz_policy_id, cmplz_functional, cmplz_preferences, cmplz_statistics, cmplz_marketing and cmplz_consented_services. These record the banner status, policy version and categories or services you allow. They do not mean that an analytics or advertising service is active. Consent preferences are retained for up to 365 days, unless you clear them sooner or a new choice is required.

Optional: external content

Google Maps may be offered as embedded content. Loading it connects your browser to Google and may disclose technical information such as your IP address and set Google cookies. It is blocked until you allow the relevant optional service. Provider practices and retention depend on the service; see Google’s privacy policy and cookie information.

Optional: personalised tips with Mautic

If you allow “Personalised tips and external content”, we use our Mautic installation at ma.corecreative.se to record page visits and recognise returning browsers. Visits can be linked to a contact after a form submission or a click from a Mautic email. A contact enquiry alone does not give permission for marketing email.

Only confirmed newsletter subscribers may receive tips based on repeated interest in social media, websites or branding. The starting rule is two separate visits within seven days. Automatic interest emails share a limit of one per week, follow your chosen newsletter language and pause while an enquiry remains open. We do not record what you type into forms or create recordings of your scrolling.

You can withdraw optional tracking in Cookie settings and stop marketing email using the unsubscribe link in each email. The local interest counter keeps page signals for up to eight days; its first-party consent identifier lasts up to 30 days. Mautic recognition cookies or browser storage may last up to one year. Contact activity in Mautic is associated with your contact profile; you can request access or deletion through hello@corecreative.se.

Website fonts

Our website fonts are hosted locally on corecreative.se, so loading these fonts does not require your browser to connect to Google’s font servers.

Change or withdraw your choice

Use “Cookie settings” in the footer or the consent control available on every page. You can decline optional services, save a selection or withdraw an earlier choice. Your browser also lets you remove stored cookies. Removing them may cause the banner to ask again. Administrator login cookies are used separately for authorised site administration.

08 / UPDATES

Things change.
We update.

Even this page gets a revision. The date at the top keeps score.

We update this page when the website, responsible entity or use of personal information changes. The date above shows the latest revision. New optional tracking will not be enabled merely because a consent category is available.

STILL HAVE A QUESTION?

Ask the human.

No legal treasure hunt required.
