CASE STUDY / BOXFORM
FROM STEEL.
TO FEELING AT HOME.
How CoreCreative took Boxform from a business idea to a name, a brand and a website designed to generate interest in a different way to live. This is the project, our thinking and what we created.
Boxform · Strategy, identity and web

An idea needs more than attention. It needs interest.
Boxform explores a different way to create homes from shipping containers. Holiday homes for private buyers come first, with permanent housing as a further possibility. The brief was to make the offer understandable, spark curiosity and encourage the right people to get in touch.
Interest before launch.
The website needed to start collecting enquiries before the business takes its next step. Those conversations will help Boxform understand demand and decide whether there is enough interest to move forward. The journey from inspiration to contact was part of the strategy from the outset.
A name that holds the idea together.
We explored several names against the offer, the audience and the intended competitive position. Boxform brings the starting point and the possibility together: a box that can take a new form. A name that explains the concept while leaving room for imagination.
Hard on the outside.
Human in its expression.
A container is hard. A home should feel warm and human. That contrast became the idea behind the logo. A structured “box” meets a softer, more personal “form”. Together they connect the material with the feeling of living in it.
The transformation is the story.
Rather than simply saying a container can become a home, we made the website show it. As visitors scroll, the starting point develops into a vision with openings, light and room to live. The experience makes the idea tangible before the visitor starts a conversation.

Starting pointTaking shape
Two project visualisations. This comparison demonstrates the idea behind the website’s scroll transformation.
Make the possibility
easy to imagine.
The housing images were developed digitally from initial sketches. They help visitors understand space, materials, light and how the volumes might fit together. These are concept visualisations of possible designs, not photographs of completed buildings.

From “what if”
to “let’s talk”.
The content follows the visitor’s train of thought: an unexpected possibility, practical ways to live, and a straightforward route to a conversation. Calls to action appear where an idea may have taken shape. Visitors do not need a finished architectural drawing to get in touch.

Live.
And ready for the next step.
Boxform now has a coherent brand and a live website collecting interest ahead of a potential business launch. At the time this case was prepared, the client reported a couple of organic visits per day, without active advertising. Lead collection is ongoing; conversion and business outcomes are not yet established.
An idea to build on.
CoreCreative connected the project from business development and naming to identity, content and a working website. One coherent expression and a clear route to contact.
